CPUs are the brain of the computer. They turn all the ones and zeros that we don't understand into code that turns other combinations of words and characters into language that we REALLY can. Such as english and such. I cannot stress the importance of buying a reliable processor over a fast and featured CPU. They are expensive and abusing them without proper cooling is a dangerous and potentially expensive game.

  Cooling and planning on how you will cool your PC is very important as well as the CPU is generally the hottest component on one's "machine" along with the GPU. There are typically 2 ways to cool your computer. Air and liquid cooling.

Air

Liquid

• More effective at cooling
• More expensive
• Possible leaks that could cause damage
